PROS: This was resort was recently renovated and the rooms themed to a fun The Incredibles theme! The location of this resort is a giant pro in that it is a 10 minute walk to Magic Kingdom and then there is the fact that the Monorail literally rides THROUGH the actual resort. This resort has stunning views of the lake or Magic Kingdom and has some of the most coveted dining locations on Disney grounds. Chef Mickey which is a great character dining location, then Steakhouse 71 known for incredible steaks, and last but for sure not least is California Grill.
CONS: The resort has a more industrial feel and less Disney. It is humid during the day as you make your way to the lower levels or Monorail if you are staying in the main tower due to the Monorail tracks keeping the resort open to the outdoors. The lobby is very nice but basic... there is not a big awe moment but once you get upstairs with the Monorail riding through the resorts center there are plenty of awe moments.
TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS: Bus, Boats, and Monorail.
PREFERRED ROOMS VS RESORT VIEW (STANDARD): The difference between standard and preferred rooms are walking distance to the buses, and amenities. Standard rooms will be around an added 15-30 minutes walk back to the resort from transportation stops.
